Feather Centerpieces

I am currently loving feather plume centerpieces. Feathers can be a nice alternative to flower centerpieces. It reminds me of old Hollywood glamor, the roaring twenties, and traditional Vegas showgirls with their elaborate headdresses. It also brings to mind a Cuban-style coco cabana club, similar to Ricky’s on I Love Lucy.

The ostrich feather plumes give more of an elegance and sophistication than normal “boa” feathers do. Yes they are a bit opulent but I love a touch of luxury to any event.

A Day to Remember

The LED-lit vases beautifully show off the detail of the light and airy feathers above. Plus it’s very easy to change the LED color depending on the venue.

The exotic look of the centerpieces definitely leave an impression, especially the multi-color ones.

Height of the vases and diameter of the plumes can be altered to increase or decrease the dramatic effect of the theme. Although this can be a DIY project, hired professionals may be recommended as they have style insight and decorative expertise.

Ostrich Feather Party

Huge fan of the mardi gras centerpieces! Finally, have to throw this in here – went to a very fun Great Gatsby Gala a few weeks ago at the Tower Club in Dallas to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). It was a lovely party with a silent auction, dancing, food and drink, casino tables, and even a martini ice luge! Check out the use of feather centerpieces in the background!
